Diane’s Legacy Fund for DPTV’s Future

As one of Detroit Public TV’s most recognizable personalities for 30 years, Diane Bliss Howard has encouraged viewers to join her in supporting programs with their gifts. It’s not just something she says; it’s something she does. Although Diane has retired from full-time work, she continues her significant annual support and has now decided to insure a lasting legacy for the cause and the station she loves.

Diane formally notified DPTV of her intent to leave a portion of her estate to create an endowed fund for employee training and development. She believes our media employees are “the heart and soul” of our organization, and wants to leave a legacy of developing staff expertise through training scholarships for the future. Thank you Diane!
